MUSTARD CHOUX PASTRY

time 10 min  casserole 35 à 40 min

Serves 6

Ingredients :

- 1 cup water
- 1 cup flour
- 8 tablespoons butter
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup Comté cheese
- 3 tablespoons mustard Téméraire
- salt
- pepper
- nutmeg

Delicious when served warm with aperitif.
 
 
Gougère à la Moutarde

Cooking directions

1. Put the water, salt, pepper and a pinch of nutmeg in a saucepan.
2. Bring to the boil, and remove from heat.
3. Add the flour all at once and mix well with a wooden spoon until smooth.
4. Return the saucepan to the heat and leave the dough go dry. Pour it into a bowl.
5. Add eggs one at a time, and add diced Comté cheese and mustard.
6. Spoon the dough onto a greased baking sheet to make individual puffs or spoon enough
dough to make a ring in a pie tin.
7. Bake for about 35 minutes in the preheated oven to 180°C/350°F.
